September Lunch With Jason Thiel Has Been Scheduled!

Join us on September 13th at New Town Bistro as we welcome President of the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership, Jason Thiel!  Jason will speak to the group about all the exciting things happening in the downtown area – now and in the future!   If you’ve wondered the status of the new I40 project, new business in the area or Winston’s growth in general, be sure to attend this lunch!  The lunch is 11:30 – 1:30 but if you’re pressed for time, at least join us from 12 – 1 so you can at least hear Jason speak.

About Jason:

Jason Thiel is the president of the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership, an active member and advocacy organization leading the efforts to revitalize and strengthen downtown Winston-Salem business recruitment and support, economic development, marketing, special events, and implementation of the Downtown Plan.

Jason joined the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership in January of 2006, after serving as the Director of Downtown Development and Tax Increment Financing for Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. Prior to working in Fort Worth, Jason worked for the city of Jacksonville, Florida in several different capacities related to downtown development.

Jason graduated with a BA in Political Science from Temple University in 1994 and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida in 1997.

He enjoys traveling with his wife Shayna, reading books, and spending time with his six year old son Ryan and two year old son David.

About Lunch:

Our sessions and speakers are free, lunch is not. Lunch is $15 and all inclusive of lunch, beverage, tax and gratuity.  You can pay online before the event or at the door. If you opt to pay before via PayPal, please note there is a $1 service fee in addition to the cost of lunch to offset the service fees that PayPal charges us.  Thank you to New Town Bistro for graciously hosting us!
