October Lunch with Lisa Snedeker – “The WFU School of Law’s Social Media Journey”

Join us on October 11th at New Town Bistro as we welcome LIsa Snedeker, Director of Communications and Public Relations for the Wake Forest University School of Law. Lisa will share with us the journey of bringing Social Media tools into the School of Law’s Communications & PR activities.

About our speaker:

Lisa Snedeker was named Director of Communications and Public Relations for the Wake Forest University School of Law in October 2008. Prior to joining the law school, she worked with the Babcock Graduate School of Management’s External Relations department as a public relations/media relations specialist. Before coming to Wake Forest, Lisa worked as a reporter and editor for The Associated Press, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Las Vegas Sun and The Fayetteville (N.C.) Observer, among other newspapers and magazines. She served as the Mass Communications Department Chair at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah, for three years and has taught at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas as well as Rockingham (N.C.) Community College and Mohave Community College in Arizona. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism, French and broadcasting from Saint Mary-of-the Woods College in Indiana and a master’s degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois at Springfield.

About Lunch:

Our sessions and speakers are free, lunch is not. Lunch is $15 and all inclusive of lunch, beverage, tax and gratuity.  You can pay online before the event or at the door. If you opt to pay before via PayPal, please note there is a $1 service fee in addition to the cost of lunch to offset the servcie fees that PayPal charges us.  Thank you to New Town Bistro for graciously hosting us!
