Please join us September 11th as we get our monthly lunchs back in gear! This month we’ll welcome Russell DuBois, Executive Director of the Creative Corridors Coalition www.creativecorridors.org who will share “Creative Corridors: What’s In It For Us?” with the group.
About Russell: Russell DuBois is the Executive Director of the Creative Corridors Coalition. He was the architect on staff at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem from 1994 until April 2012. He is chair of the Medical Center’s Visual and Performing Arts Committee, and chair of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Community Appearance Commission. He has been a member of the Creative Corridors Coalition’s Executive Committee and co-chair of the Community Engagement Committee since its inception in 2010.
Russ graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1978, and came to Winston-Salem in 1990. He has been drawing since childhood, and took up pastels about seven years ago. Besides art, he enjoys running, reading, travel, history, and music. Russ was born in northern California, and has also lived in suburban New York City and Iowa before moving to North Carolina.
Our sessions and speakers are free, lunch is not. Lunch is $15 and all inclusive of lunch, beverage, tax and gratuity. Thank you to Spring House Restaurant for graciously hosting us!
